The Abkhaz Foreign Ministry has commented on the US resolution on
Russia's occupation of Abkhazia and South Ossetia. Abkhazia says that
the US is using political and economic sanctions against the republic,
RIA Novosti reports.
The US passed the resolution in support of Georgia on July 29.
The Abkhaz Foreign Ministry said that the country is open for any US
official. However, the resolution demonstrates that the US is involved
in the Georgian-Abkhaz conflict, rather than being an independent
factor in the process.
