A police officer was killed in a shootout in Dagestan’s Kizilyurt
District. A civilian couple was injured, RIA Novosti reports.
Four unidentified assailants opened fire at a police vehicle in the
village of Stalskoye at 23:30. Senior Lieutenant Umar Temirkayev died
on his way to hospital, his passengers were hospitalized with wounds.
