Turkey may establish commission to prevent Islamophobia

A special commission of the Turkish Parliament may inspect incidents
of infringement of Muslim rights and Islamophobic cases in the
European Union, News Armenia reports.

Establishment of the commission was proposed by Prime Minister Recep
Tayyip Erdogan, who had expressed criticism of media that had tried to
associate the terrorist attacks in Norway with Islamic terrorism.
Erdogan called the events in Norway “Christian fundamentalism” because
Breiwik was a Christian.
