Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad will present his candidates for ministerial posts at the parliament on August 3, Trend reports.
Ahmadinejad presented Rostam Gasemi as Petroleum Minister, Abdorreza Sheykholeslami as Minister for Labour, Cooperatives and Social Development, Mehdi Gazanfari as Minister for Industry, Mininf and Labour, Mohammad Abbasi as Minister for Sports and Youth.
Ahmadinejad dismissed three ministers as part of the plan for ministry reduction from 21 to 17. Petroleum Minister Seyed Masoud Mirkazemi, Minister for Social Development Sadyg Makhsuli and Minister for Industry and Mining Aliakbar Mehrabian were dismissed.
Ministerial reduction is part of the five-year program.
