Two Caspian protocols to be signed

Kazakhstan will host a meeting of representatives of the Caspian littoral countries on Aug. 10-11. They signed the Framework Convention for the Protection of the Marine Environment of the Caspian Sea, Trend reports.

The meeting will take place in Aktau. Two protocols are expected to be signed. The Caspian Sea Convention was signed in Tehran on Nov. 4, 2003. A delegation led by Deputy Environment and Natural Resources Minister Rauf Hajiyev will represent Azerbaijan at the meeting.
