Ahmadinejad reiterates peaceful character of Iranian nuclear program

Iranian president Mahmud Ahmadinezhad declared that the Islamic republic isn't interested in possessing a nuclear arsenal. He added that Iran is one of the few states in the world that has allowed the International Atomic Energy Agency to carry out checks on all its nuclear developments, Iran.ru reports.
According to the president, western scientists know perfectly well about the peaceful character of the Iranian nuclear program. But the western politicians continue to put out false information about military developments in the nuclear sphere. The president insisted that Iran would use any enriched uranium exclusively for medical purposes.
