Georgia has halted the work of the consulate that issues visas at the
Swiss embassy in Russia, RIA Novosti reports.
Russia shut down electricity. Georgian diplomats have not commented on
the shut down.
Visas may be received at the airports of Tbilisi and other cities in
Georgia. The Verkhny Lars border post also started issuing visas on
July 2, 2011.
