The leader of South Ossetia, Eduard Kokoity said today that the
annexation of South Ossetia to Russia and Belarus is a strategic
perspective, RIA Novosti reports.
On July 28 Kokoity said that South Ossetia will strive to create a
union state with Russia and Belarus. He noted that the merging with
North Ossetia and the annexation of a united republic to Russia is not
on the agenda.
Eduard Kokoity said that such important and serious decisions are not
to be taken hastily.
