The number of car accidents in Kabardino-Balkaria increased by 20.7%
in the first half of 2011, RIA Novosti reports.
There were 420 traffic accidents in the first six months of 2011, with
108 people dead and 517 injured. The number of people injured
increased by 13.6%. The number of people killed in car accidents
dropped by 1.8%.
All three indicators grew in the Zolsky, Urvansky and Prokhladnensky
Districts and the "Caucasus" Federal Road.
