Ashkhabad has hosted consultations between the Turkmen and Chinese
Foreign Ministries, China was represented by Foreign Minister Yang
Jiechi, Trend reports.
The sides exchanged views on improvement of cooperation, They
discussed regional and international affairs of mutual interest.
Special attention was paid to cooperation within the framework of
international organizations, such as the UN. An important aspect of
relations is the friendly ties of Turkmen President Gurbanguly
Berdimuhamedov and his Chinese counterpart Hu Jintao.
The foreign ministers agreed to continue developing contacts in
politics, the economy, the scientific-technical and cultural spheres.
