Special operation ends in Makhachkala

Dagestani police have finished a special operation in the suburbs of the republic's capital of Makhachkala. Several militants were killed, RIA Novosti cites a source in the law-enforcement agencies as saying.

"The operation is finished. Now they are inspecting the debris of the house, where the militants stayed, and trying to find out how many militants were killed during the special operation," the source said.
