The bureau of the chief council of the United Russia political party announced that the next party congress will be held in Moscow on September 23-24, RIA Novosti reports.
"Today the bureau of the chief council of the party backed party's leader, Vladinir Putin's proposition to held the next congress in Moscow on September 23-24. Thus the bureau recommended the party's chief council's presidium to start preparation for the event," the statement by the United Russia's press service reads.
