Policemen who took part in an inspection of the village of
Kushchevskaya in the Krasnodar Region have solved 11 crimes in one day
and arrested two people on the federal wanted list, RIA Novosti
reports.
The name of the village became widely known in November last year,
when 12 people were killed in the house of a local farmer. A local
criminal group, whose members were arrested for the murders, has been
operating in the village for many years with the connivance of law
enforcement bodies. The story provoked a wide public response.
According to the report, the inspection is part of operative and
preventive measures being carried out to stabilize the environment in
the village of Kuschevskaya.
