Jonathan James Eyvs and Katherine Jane Leach have been appointed joint ambassadors of the United Kingdom in Armenia, succeeding Charles Lonsdale, who had been transferred to another Diplomatic Service. New ambassadors will take office in January 2012. Their permanent residence will be located in Yerevan.
Jonathan Eyvs works in the British Foreign Office since 1996, and Catherine Leech - since 2000.
Prior to their diplomatic service they were engaged in scientific activities in the field of public opinion, News.am reports referring to the press service of the British Embassy in Armenia
