Turkey increases oil supplies for Libyan rebels

Turkey is increasing supplies of diesel fuel for the Libyan opposition
in Benghazi, ITAR-TASS reports.

A total of 10,000 tons of fuel worth $10 million was sent to Benghazi
from Turkey in July. The next portion will consist of over 100,000
barrels and will be sent on Wednesday to arrive in late August.

Fuel was provided by the Turkish International Oil Company, a
subsidiary of Turkiye Petrolleri.

Libyans will pay for the fuel with oil when extraction renews.

Qatar and the Vitol Company provided oil earlier. Vitol is based in
Netherlands and Switzerland. Vitol provided oil fuel for Syria.

Libyan opposition has been successful in the fight against Muammar
Gaddafi's forces. It took control of Ez-Zavia in west Libya and broke
connection between Tripoli and Tunisia.
