Ankara is concerned by the attack by forces loyal to Syrian President
Bashar Assad against civilians at Latakia. Turkish Prime Minister
Recep Tayyip Erdogan ordered Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu to hand
a note to Assad. Erdogan is expected to make an officials statement,
SalamNews reports.
Davutoglu urged bloodshed to stop, especially in Ramadan.
The National Security Council will discuss the Syrian problem on August 18.
