The prosecutor of the Yerevan, Kentron and Nork-Marash administrative districts, Aram Grigoryan, committed suicide on Tuesday, News.am cites the spokeswoman for the Prosecutor General, Sona Truzyan, as saying.
According to her, the prosecutor’s body was found in Vanadzor city cemetery, near the grave of his mother. He had shot himself with a government-issue Makarov pistol.
Grigoryan was 37 years old, a father of three children. He had worked in the prosecutor’s office of Kentron and Nork-Marash for only a month. Prior to that, he served as a military prosecutor.
