The Russian authorities have explained the recent power cut in the Swiss Embassy's Georgian section. According to a statement by the Russian Foreign Ministry, the action was taken due to a delay in payments, RIA Novosti reports, meaning the Russian Foreign Minister sees no necessity to start special talks.
Previously the Georgian party called upon Switzerland and Russia to start talks aimed at settling the matter.
