Turkish air forces have bombed Kurdish separatists in northern Iraq
this morning, RIA Novosti reports.
About 15 fighters, including F-16s, attacked the Kurdistan Workers’
Party. There have been no reports on the death toll of the attack.
The Kurdistan Workers’ Party has been at war with the government for
over 25 years, demanding independence. Over 40,000 people have died.
The party has been recognized as a terrorist organization by the UN
and the EU. The organization threatened to activate terrorist attacks
unless Turkey makes steps towards resolution of the conflict.
