It's very important for schools, especially those situated in multinational regions of the country, to raise tolerance among students, Russian President Dmitry Medvedev said at a meeting on education held in Adygeya, RIA Novosti reports.
"One learns how to live together with people of other traditions while young. It's very important to make children understand other cultures so they don't seem strange. That's especially important in the multinational regions of the country," the president said.
