The president of the Turkish football club Besiktas, Yildirim
Demiroren, has been summoned to court for a case on fixed matches,
Trend reports.
The president of Trabzonspor FC, Sadri Shener, and a member of the
council of the Turkish Football Federation, Levent Kyzyl, were
arrested earlier.
The police operation started on July 3 and was held in 12 provinces,
including Istanbul and Ankara.
The Fenerbahce FC president was detained for fixing a match in the
2010-2011 season, which the team won 3:1.
Turkish media say that about 150 people may be arrested in the case.
55 people were arrested in Istanbul in March-April 2010.
