Russian government to separate “ethnos” from “nation”

Russia is planning to pass a bill on terminology in international
relations. The word “national” is proposed to be used for the whole
state. It’s ethnicities will no longer be described by the term,
meaning that any conflicts between nations would be called
“interethnic”, Yuga.ru reports.

The initial project was developed by the Ministry for Regional
Development. The change will require adjustments to at least 15 laws.
