Russia expects Georgian provocations on independence day of Abkhazia and South Ossetia

Georgia plans a mass provocation for the 3rd independence anniversary
of Abkhazia and South Ossetia on August 26, a Russian Foreign Ministry
said, ITAR-TASS reports.

Some peace protests are planned at the village of Odzizi on the road
leading to the South Ossetian city of Leningori. About 3,000 people
from the temporary accommodation camp of Tserovani are expected,
including Chechens living in the Akhmetsky District of Georgia. A mass
penetration into the territory is planned.

The ministry noted that citizens are being pressurized to participate
in the process. They are forced to sign documents for attendance. This
proves that the organizers of the marches are indifferent to the fate
of refugees. The Russian foreign ministry expects that the
international community will react to the provocation.
