Libyan leader Muammar Gaddafi address to the nation on the radio and stated that the surrender of the governmental residence in Tripoli was a tactical ploy, RIA Novosti reports, citing Al-Aruba TV-channel.

The official representative of the government said Gaddafi’s forces can put up resistance for months and years, while Libya will become a land of volcanoes, lava and fire. The rebels’ leaders won’t find peace if they come to Tripoli, he stated.
