Businessman Nurbiya Samogov, head of the trading office of Adygeya in
Moscow, has been elected to the Federation Council to represent
Adygeya, RIA Novosti reports.
Samogov will replace Aslan Khashir. The new official received 40 out
of 48 votes.
Samogov was elected to the parliament of Adygeya of the fifth calling
from the electoral district of the United Russia Party. He has the
medal Glory of Adygeya and an insignia of honour from the Adygeyan
state council.
