15 soldiers injured in landmine attack in Turkey

Fifteen soldiers were injured in a blast today in Turkey, with two of them in a critical condition, Hurriyet Daily News reports.

Suspected members of the outlawed Kurdish Workers' Party detonated explosives next to a convoy carrying troops in the province of Hakkari in southeastern Turkey on Thursday.

Initial information indicated an explosive device detonated by remote control caused the blast, which damaged a minibus carrying soldiers at around 7 a.m. local time.
