The opposition will wait for the Armenian leadership’s response to the demand for snap parliamentary and presidential elections in September, News.am cites the coordinator of the Armenian National Congress, Levon Zurabyan, as saying.
“If the demands for early parliamentary and presidential elections are not satisfied by the end of September, the Armenian National Congress will be left with only one demand - the unconditional resignation of Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan,” he quoted the leader of the Armenian National Congress as saying on August 2.
As Armenian media reported earlier, the delegation of the Armenian National Congress and the working group of the ruling coalition did not meet on Friday.
