Georgian opposition planning to disrupt Independence Day parade
A Georgian opposition leaders from the 'Svoboda' (Freedom) party,
Sandro Bregadze, said that some opposition parties are planning to
disrupt the Independence Day military parade in Tbilisi on May 26th on
the Independence Day, Interfax reports.
Bregadze added that Georgia should not demonstrate its military force
in the current conditions.
He said that European countries have stopped having military parades
on Independence Days. "It seems as though the Georgian authorities are
intentionally trying to set the situation on edge, but do not know
what a military policy can lead to", Bregadze said.
