Iran's position on Nagorno-Karabakh is impartial

Iran's position on the settlement of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict between Armenian and Azerbaijan is impartial.

"Azerbaijan is our friend and Armenia is our friend as well," Iranian Ambassador to Russia Seyed Mahmoud Reza Sadjadi told a SalamNews correspondent.

According to the ambassador, Iran suggested that it can be a mediator in the Azerbaijani-Armenian peace talks. Such a proposal has been made officially, the ambassador noted.
