Armenia will establish a special fund for supporting young scientists,
President Serzh Sargsyan said at a seminar in Tsakhnadzor for
developing and financing of science, Armenia Today reports.
The seminar was initiated by a Facebook group for financing of science
and the ARMACAD science network. Scientists, members of the Armenian
Academy of Science and the Heritage Party, Prosperous Armenia,
Dashnaktsutyun, the Republican Party and the Armenian National
Congress gathered.
Those attending the seminar proposed more efficient spending of
scientific funding. The president informed them about the
establishment of the fund.
