The Turkish embassy in France has filed a protest note to the French
Interior Ministry, due to demonstrations held by the Kurdistan
Workers’ Party (PKK), SalamNews reports.
Last week a group of PKK protesters gathered at the government
buildings in France. They were protesting against Turkish air raids in
northern Iraq.
Turkey initiated the air raids after a terrorist attack by Kurdish
militants in south-eastern Turkey on August 17. The terrorists killed
9 Turkish servicemen. It was the first Turkish air raid in northern
Iraq in over a year.
