Six people were taken to hospital after a Mi-8 helicopter crashed in Arkhyz Gorge in Karachay-Cherkessia, RIA Novosti reports, citing the Investigation Committee of Russia.
According to preliminary data, 10 people were aboard, six of them were injured and taken to hospital. The others were unhurt.
Earlier it was reported that among the injured people was the deputy plenipotentiary envoy of the president in the North Caucasus Federal District, Maxim Bystrov. The plenipotentiary embassy hasn’t confirm this information yet.
The chairman of the executive council of the Resorts of the North Caucasus, Ahmed Bilalov, was also aboard.
