Armenia had a budget income of about $1.3 billion in January-July 2011
and expenditure of $1.33 billion, News.am reports.
Compared with the same period in 2010, income increased by 9.9%, or
$117 million. 92.3% of income came from taxes, custom fees and social
insurance payments, 5.2% from other sources, 2.5% from official
grants.
Taxes and custom fees amount to over $1 billion of income. 48.7% of
taxes are based on VAT, 5.5% from excise duties, 6.9% profit tax,
12.1% income tax and 5.7% custom fees.
