UN to assign Turkey to head peacekeeping forces in Libya

The United Nations plans to send peacekeeping forces consisting of 200 military experts and 190 policemen to Libya

There is information that UN General Secretary Ban Ki-moon plans to designate Turkey to manage these peacekeeping forces.

The National Transitional Council of Libya stated it is against the presence of any foreign forces in their country, TRT reports.
