Russian president orders scrupulous investigation into Grozny terrorist attacks

Russian Interior Minister Rashid Nurgaliyev informed President Dmitry
Medvedev about the searches for organizers of the terrorist attacks in
Grozny, Yuga.ru reports.


Medvedev ordered support for people injured in the blasts and their
families and promotion of the police professionals that arrest the
criminals.


Vestnik Kavkaza reported earlier that explosions occurred on Bogdan
Khmelnitsky Street on August 30. The first blast took place when road
police attempted to detain a man, who blew himself up. Two more blasts
went off when the police and locals arrived.


Chechen Leader Ramzan Kadyrov blamed militant leader Doku Umarov for the blasts.
9 people died and 20 were injured, including police officers and civilians.
