Prime Minister Vladimir Putin gave a speech in Cherepovets at the
inter-regional conference of the United Russia, which was broadcast on
the Russia-24 TV channel.
At the conference, Putin expressed his satisfaction with results of
the primaries, held by the United Russia under the Popular Front
before the elections to the Duma. At the same time he acknowledged
problems existing in the "United Russia".
Putin said that at least 50 percent of the United Russia faction
deputies in the Duma will be changed.
