Iran has filed a lawsuit against Russia at the UN International Court
of Justice, Iranian Defense Minister Ahmad Vahidi said, Trend reports.
Vahidi said that the case had been initiated due to Russia's refusal
to fulfill the contract on shipments of S-300 missile complexes.
Tehran filed a lawsuit in late August.
The S-300 does not undergo sanctions of the UN Security Council,
Iranian Ambassador to Moscow Mahmoud Reza Sadjadi said. The UN
Security Council passed resolution 1929 against Iran in June. The
resolution limits shipments of arms, including missile systems, tanks,
attack helicopters, jet fighters and vessels.
