Russian parliament opens final session before polls

The Russian Parliament opened its final session before December's
polls, Interfax cites Speaker Boris Gryzlov as saying.

The parliament will set priorities for work with new budget, health
protection and education. A budget project will be introduced by late
September and viewed by late November.

Parliamentary polls will be held on December 4, 2011. Four political
parties are currently presented at the parliament: United Russia,
Communist Party of the Russian Federation, Fair Russia and the Liberal
Democratic Party of Russia. The All-Russian Center for Studies of
Public Opinion believes that the parties have the best chances to
enter the sixth calling.

Deputy Chairman of Parliament Valerie Yazev said that they will stress
on innovative development of the real sector of economy. Over 400
bills will be viewed in three months.
