The Supreme Rada of Ukraine on Thursday appointed Nikolai Azarov to the post of prime minister of Ukraine, UNIAN reports. The appointment was approved by 242 of 343 deputies registered in the session hall.
Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovych congratulated Azarov and gave him a bouquet of flowers.
