Iranian Foreign Minister Ali Akbar Salehi says unity between the Muslim people of Iran and Pakistan and bilateral economic cooperation can help the regional economy, the Iranian news agency Press TV reports.
In a meeting with the chairman of Pakistan's Senate, Farooq Hamid Naek, on Wednesday, Salehi stressed the necessity of expanding cooperation between Iran and Pakistan.
Salehi arrive in Islamabad on Wednesday to attend the Iran-Pakistan Joint Economic Commission.
