Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei says religious democracy can meet the needs of regional nations under the present complicated circumstances, Press TV reports.
Addressing the chairman and members of the Assembly of Experts on Thursday, he noted that as the main legacy of the late founder of Islamic republic Imam Khomeini, religious democracy can delineate
future path of nations and prevent enemies from exploiting the existing power vacuums.
"Great developments are taking place in the region and the existing void regarding future direction of these developments should be filled by accurate explanation of correct meaning of religious democracy to Muslim nations," he said.
