Four police officers have been injured in a blast in Makhachkala this
early morning, RIA Novosti reports.
The officers stopped a vehicle to check documents at the Institute of
Physics and Geothermal Studies of the Dagestani Science Center of the
Russian Academy of Sciences on Yaragskogo Street at 0:10 am. An
explosion occurred. The bomb was equivalent to about 400 g of TNT.
Four officers were hospitalized, their vehicle has numerous holes from
metal projectiles.
