Well-known Turkish political analyst Togrul Ismail has made a report
for the economic forum in Krynica-Zdroj. The expert believes that
South Caucasus and Middle Asia form a single geo-strategic region with
common growth points and risks.
Ismail noted that the search and finding of integration processes in
Central Asia are becoming a bigger problem. The region needs to cope
with drug trafficking, water and energy conflicts and improve capital
management.
The economic forum was organized by the Warsaw Institute of Eastern
Studies under the slogan "European Dilemmas: Partnership or
Competition". Alexey Vlasov, Editor-in-Chief of Vestnik Kavkaza is
attending the forum.
