Turkish Foreign Minister: "Turkey EUROPRO not to be directed against any country"

The EUROPRO in Turkey will not be directed against any country,
spokesman of the Turkish Foreign Ministry Selcuk Unal said , Trend
reports, citing the Turkish newspaper "Milliyet".

Unal said that this statement was meant as a response to the concerns
recently expressed by the Iranians regarding the EUROPRO project.

The radar will be a part of a network of missile defense systems
developed by the US and NATO. It will be placed in the Turkish city of
Diyarbakir, the newspaper "Zaman" reports.
