Russian Energy Minister Sergei Shmatko has arrived in the Iranian capital city of Tehran to participate in the 9th session of the Iran-Russia Joint Commission, Press TV reports.
The Russian minister, who arrived in Tehran on Sunday at the head of a delegation, is expected to attend a joint press conference with Iranian Foreign Minister Ali Akbar Salehi.
On Monday Shmatko will attend a ceremony during which the Bushehr nuclear power plant will be put into operation.
