Pakistani Prime Minister on official visit to Iran

Pakistani Prime Minister Yusuf Raza Gilani has arrived on an official
visit to Tehran, where he was greeted at the airport by the first
vice-president of Iran, Mohammad Reza Rahimi, Iran News reports.

Gilani was accompanied by the Foreign Minister of Pakistan, Hina Rabbani Khar.

Last week, Iranian Foreign Minister Ali Akbar Salehi was on an
official visit to Pakistan. During the visit, both sides signed four
memorandums of understanding to further enhance cooperation in various
fields.

In addition, Iran and Pakistan signed an agreement on the construction
of a pipeline aimed at supplying Pakistan with Iranian gas.
