The level of industrial production in Dagestan increased by 2.5 billion rubles and reached 36.004 billion in 2010, RIA Novosti reports.
Indicator of the industrial production in 2010 was 102.6%, compared with 103.2% in 2009 and 108.6% planned for 2010. The growth rate dropped by 0.6%, compared with 2009, and by 6.0%, compared with 2010.
Social-economic indicators in 2010 dropped due to reduction of production of food, including drinks and tobacco (76.7% compared with 2009), flour – twofold, vodka – twofold, cognac – 40.2%, canned vegetables and fruits – 32.2%, meat products – 9%, extraction of resources (97.6% compared with 2009), oil and condensate extraction – 0.6%.
Press and polygraphic activity reduced production (98.9% compared with 2009), machinery and equipment (71.7% compared with 2009), production and distribution of electricity, gas and water (99.6% compared with 2009). Agriculture production increased by 3.92 billion rubles in 2010, compared with 2009, exceeding 49.42 billion rubles.
