Georgian President Mikheil Saakashvili is planning major shifts within the government, Vzglyad reports.
Prime Minister Nika Gilauri is the first candidate for dismissal. He will be replaced by State Minister for Regional Development Ramaz Nikoleishvili or Minister for Economy Veronika Kobalia.
Ministers for Agriculture Bakur Kvezereli, Ecology Georgy Khachidze may be replaced. Defense Minister Bacho Akhalaya may become the president’s authorized representative to Western Georgia. The government has not commented on the issue yet.
