Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan has made a speech at a meeting of foreign ministers of Arab states, Trend reports.
He said that recognition of Palestine is necessary. The Syrian problem was also under discussion at the meeting.
Erdogan is on a two-day visit to Egypt and has been visiting North African states. He will meet
Chairman of the Supreme Council of the Armed Forces Muhammad Tantawy and Prime Minister Essam Sharaf in Cairo. Erdogan will also meet Secretary General of the League of Arab States Nabil el-Araby.
On a visit to Tunisia on September 14 Erdogan met Vice-President Fuad al-Mebazza and Prime Minister Beji Caid el Sebsi.
Erdogan will visit Libya on September 15 and meet Chairman of the National Transitional Council Mustafa Abdul Jalil.
