Iran has tested Gased smart bombs at the Velayat-3 military training exercises, Trend reports.
The Gased weighs 2000 pounds and was dropped from an F-4 fighter, General Khossein Chit Forroush said. The training started on Tuesday.
The previous stage ended on September 12. Velayat-3 started in the north-west of the country on September 6. Operations were carried out by the Pejak.
This is the first warning military training Iran has held in the last 30 years. F-4, F-5, Su-24, MiG-29, Sayege, S-130 and other aircraft were involved. The process consists of 4 stages, with tests of air-to-air and air-to-surface missiles, heavy and light bombs.
